Looking at Stars in the Cornfield

I’ve had this idea in my head for a long time; that of a boy looking at extraordinarily bright stars with binoculars in a cornfield. The whole galaxy across the sky before him, and all he has to do to see it is walk into the cornfield in his backyard.
