I’m an illustrator and artist making art from my home in the red hills of the Florida panhandle. I grew up homeschooled, playing pretend under the giant pine trees and always finding ways to be creative. Originally from Minnesota, much of my work is influenced by the rural Midwest. 

Inspired by nature and childhood memories, along with retro illustration and design, (such as the work of Robert McCloskey, E.H. Shephard, Leonard Weisgard, and Pauline Baynes) I seek to create a sense of nostalgia, and timeless childhood in my work. Something between Little House on the Prairie, Winnie the Pooh, and The Sugar Creek Gang.

I also love to find inspiration in film, such as the classic movie Black Stallion.
